Complete my DAO with all dragons killed and map cleaned and lacking my RPG fix now :(
I think that what is needed is a langage with all these :
- low level access (optimize your memory accesses and structure in memory)
- good structuring support : object support for code modularity needed when doing big projects (possible without it but much more costly)
- quality tooling (especially compilation/debugging tools)
- access to more common library efficiently (library accessible in efficient form)

Wow, just looked two time the uncompressed version and it can't even be remotly compare to youtube 1080p.
The textures, animations, shadows, colors, physics, details are all incredible.
It's unfortunate that only the people who watched this type of uncompressed 4G video can have a true idea of the craziness of U4.
I watched the streaming yesterday, and i knew it didn't make it justice but seriously it's like looking PS2 versus...
Crazy that this game in pre alpha stage look already way much better than almost all finished game i have ever seen ^^
Update : I just downloaded the 3,8G not downgraded version and it is something quite amazing to see !

Seriously, i think that reading in details architecture article about PS4 and considering this one true, they clearly has the upper hand on sony side :
- more raw power
- more memory available for games
- more programming option for optimization later this generation
And the cloud won't do anything on real time graphic quality for those who are not on IT, it can't for reactivity reasons :)

Again they try to make us think that the cloud thing add something to gaming but it won't in 99% of gaming style.
And it has been technically proven than it can't enhance real-time graphic.
Of course this DRM thing was just about taking customers rights to get more money from them, that's all. It's obvious that it added nothing, since they can remove this DRM stuff without any impacts on any functionality.
The same goes as the cloud which is just a marketing thing and doesn't mean anything, i know it well, i'm in it business and cloud can say anything that is on the internet be it processing / storage capabilities.

I seriously agree, after all this time, this should be a RPG with :
* at least 60/70+ hours of main story game
* at least 120+ hours (ideally 150 hours+) of interesting content
After all this waiting don't tell they will mess up the game to give us an average FF experience !!!!!
Seriously, i spent 100+ hours on DA and the main story was really really average, when will we get a correct FF again.
